Fill a gap

The Learning Skills Council require colleges, as part of their risk management planning, to carry out a sensitivity analysis, a financial risk assessment and produce a robust Disaster Recovery Plan (Business Continuity Plan). To assist colleges in meeting these requirements and to improve overall management of risk, Tenet offer and have, in the past five years, provided to in excess of 50 colleges, a range of risk management products, including the following:

  • Emergency Planning - Cohesive plans to direct operations and evacuation in the immediate aftermath of an emergency.
  • Business Continuity Planning - Prescribes the manner in which the college will respond to “disastrous” events affecting premises, staff and students; the intention being to minimise any loss of operations or damage to reputation.
  • Impact Analysis -Details the likelihood and severity of specific impacts and the preventive action required.
  • Financial Risk Management Reviews - Through discussions with senior staff and a review of the development plans and financial reports produced by the College we identify and/or confirm key areas of financial risk.
  • Security Risk Assessments - Detailed review of site and perimeter security, physical security of buildings, adequacy of detection systems etc.

The final report identifies key risk areas, solutions and improvements The above can be delivered by us individually or in total and in the latter case, can be incorporated into a separate Risk Management Policy Overview document, which can also include the Health and Safety and Fire and Safety policies.
